3 Essential Things to Do Before Diablo 4 Season 9 Ends

Season 9 of Diablo 4 will soon be ending, and there are a few things you should do before it's too late.

While always subject to change, Season 9 is currently scheduled to end on September 23rd. Here are three things you should do before then:

#1 Finish the Seasonal Journey

If you haven't already, now is the time to complete the seasonal journey for Season 9.

Doing this will not only reward you with lesser rewards like titles and emblems, there are also two unique rewards that you can only get this season: the Legacy of the Order mount trophy and the Dante pet.

While this does require a fair amount of work, remember that you do not need to complete all eight chapters of the seasonal journey to earn these items. Completing Chapter 5, entitled Slayer, will earn you the banner, and completing level 6, entitled Champion, will earn you the pet.

If you have been playing regularly in Season 9 and haven't already completed these chapters, you probably still have enough time to complete them before the season ends.

#2 Claim your Battle Pass rewards

Throughout your Season 9 travels, you have been earning Favor Tokens. Be sure to spend these to unlock your Battle Pass items before the season ends!

Any unused Favor tokens will be lost at the end of the season. Whether you are interested in cosmetics or just the in-game currency, Platinum, don't miss out on claiming as many of the Season 9 Battle Pass rewards as possible.

Because each season has a specific theme, there is a very good chance that many, if not all, of these cosmetics will only be available during Season 9. Don't miss out!

#3 Retrieve last season's items in the Eternal Realm

If you are just a seasonal player, this one may not apply to you, but if you ever plan to play your old characters on the Eternal Realm, be sure to log into an Eternal Realm character before the end of the season to retrieve any items that were transferred over from last season.

When a season ends, items in your stash like Ancestrals, Legendaries, Runes, and Boss summoning materials are transferred to the Eternal Realm. To claim them, log into an Eternal Character and open your stash. From there, you can download these items from a temporary, withdrawal-only tab into your permanent stash. The catch is you have to do this before the next season ends, or those items are lost forever.
